I just recently tried to put an aftermarket radio into my 02 accord. Now, my dash lights dont work but only the gauge ones all the other indicator lamps function properly. Also, A trouble code came up but it was a transmission gear sensor and i dont understand why this is hapening. I have removed the radio and returned the wiring bak to normal and the problem is still not fixed. I was wondering if there was anyone out there with a colored wiring diagram or a slight idea as to what i can do to fix the problem because I cannot drive at night with it like this. I have checked all the fuses and relays and they seen to function properly. I am wondering if this could be a security feature because I did have the stock radio with the theft prevention. Please help me out I have tried everything.

 

Did you check the passengers side fuse box? I don't recall what fuse # it is but it's the "small light" fuse you need to check.
As for the trans code that could be a coincidence. What is the code you got P____?
Double check your wiring and make sure you didn't hook up the blue antenna wire to the illumination circuit.
