Default Radio Code??

I just bought a 94 Civic EX, and the radio does not work. I was just curious if it is a radio where you need to enter a code in order to get the radio to work if the battery is disconnnected or something. Hope you guys can help me out here. Thanks

check the wiring first, if that is correct, you may have to enter a code.

it will say "code" if you needed to enter a code.

there are a number of things that could cause your radio to not do anything. one speaker could hold back the whole system. most likely is a wiring problem, a fuse problem or the deck just plain doesn't work anymore.

Just goes to show how crazy HT can be sometimes. More than a page helping a girl member find a code for her car, but this poor guy wants to know where a fuse is and nobody will help. I'd help you, but I have an EK.

sincerely, i gave up for the night, i figure i am just gonna use this as my motivation to put my system in the new car. I do have an alpine cda 9813 HU, their 4 channel amp, and a mono sub amp, sitting in my room feeling crappy and unused

come on, i know that their are several of you, with this exact same car, sitting in your house at the computer who only need to go outside, and peek under the wheel, to answer my question.

fuse to the deck should be under the steerting column or the main power fuse should be next to the battery under the hood.
