New noise in my 99 GS
My 99 Integra has 145,000 miles and is a daily driver. Modifications are minimal: K & N cold air intake and everything from the header back is 2.5 in. A new sound has started and I would appreciate any help in pin pointing the cause.
Here are the observations. Sound is like a growl that grows with speed. It almost sounds as if there is a car next to me when the passenger side window is open. My son and his friends thought it was an induction noise, but it does not occurr unless the car is moving. If I am moving and depress the clutch, the sound does not go away. If I turn the wheel to the right while moving, the sound goes away. If I turn wheel to the left the sound continues. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the advice.

hey if my car doesn't make a new sound once a week, i think something is wrong. lol, but seriously i would have to agree with a wheel bearing check.
