i was thinking about gettin a 92-95 civic for cheap
and do an engine swap. i saw a s2000 f20c. the engine looks amazing. i was wondering if it would work. and how would u know if it works or what not. and whats needed for engine swaps. im learning

 

The F20C is not really a workable candidate for a swap into an EG chassis. Though it is technically possible, you'd probably have three months of downtime and close to $5000 in fabrication alone to make that one work (as opposed to 1 day of downtime and no fabrication for a B series swap).

 

On a 1 to 10 difficulty scale, that's like a 20. I'd look for something a bit more conventional, like a D or B series.

 

Keep it simple if you are new to the game. Get a D-series or B-series.

yeah and the f20c doesnt make all that much torque either, my friends h22 made more torque with intake header exhaust than a stock s2000.
