K20z1 into hatch - Our first swap wiring questions
Hey guys, as title says, a friend is attempting to swap a k20z1 into his EG hatch.
The engine is in place, engine plugs are connected...axles on....were just stuck in some parts....
First off, he is doing a complete swap as in interior dash, steering wheel as well.
He has the stock RSX 05-06 hardness..engine and dash harness along with engine and under dash fuse box & the stock 05-06 ecu as well
First question, Is the immobilizer going to be an issue even though he is swapping everything completely?
Main question, will this work on the hatch? using all the stock rsx hardness? will any modifications need to be done....i was reading alot of how to's but they all use aftermarket hardness or make their own and they dont swap out the interior....
To me it seems that using all the rsx stuff mentioned...there wouldnt need modifications as to the hardness, possibly couple sensors addons like the o2 exhaust sensor, the fan switch and the coolant temp sensor from what i've read we will have to wire those up to the rsx hardness somehow. Also, will have to make new battery cables as its going to have to be relocated. Im sure as well as the rear hardness will have to be modified into the rsx to make the tailights, fuel pump etc. function properly.
If anyone has rsx wiring diagrams or anything, please send or post so we can read and review. As of now im still spending all day reading trying to figure things out.
Thank you all!!!! How-to's posted make everything seem easy.....unless were dumb...
