ok... i dont own a s2k and im trying to find out how big the engine is (like length and such) for engine swap ideas... i kno this sounds like a stupid question but please help

 

You can definitely find the engine specs of the F20C or F22C if you just look on google.

Just by the fact that you cannot find the engine specs on your own, deters me from even giving you any help on the possibiliy of swapping one of our beloved S2k engines into your Civic hatch, as you would probably kill yourself.

 

s2k engine swap into what?

s2k is the only rwd tuner car...no one has really swapped the motor into any kind of civic, integra, hatch before...it would be a lot of work to convert a swapped car into rwd...you have to remember, no tranny will bolt to the s2k motor to makes the swap possible...

anyway, good luck with what you plan on doing...personally i want to see a nsx motor in the s2k

 

lol no i havent checked google yet... cuz i thought maybe i could get it on here but i am going to google it also i was just seeing if i could get any help... i kno it sounds crazy but i plan to make my del sol a FR by putting in the s2k engine and axles and such... lol that be cool to see a nsx powered s2k... ive seen a mr del sol and mr crx, but never seen a fr del sol

Seen an F20C in an AE86... Best car i've seen an F20C in is a caterham 7. 480bhp/tonne!

no but seriously, thats not true. there have already been some EG and crxs that i've seen swapped w/ the f20c motor and drivetrain, converted to RWD

Well when I get back down to the shop, i'll measure mine and let you know. I have my old motor sitting out of the car right now.

I've seen f20c's in a EG, EK, Datsun 510, Caterham 7, and AE86. Unfortunately thats all I have to offer this thread

Hmm.. a torquer motor in and S huh? You're gonna run a 3spd auto and Positrac too? On Mickey Thompsons? 1 cam for 8 cylinders, imagine the tuning posibility.
