Massive fender rub issues...
My girlfriend has a 97 Prelude(base) and we had a blow out so we borrowed some friends 18 inch rims/tires and they rub massively. The car has not been lowered, but does have full audio in the trunk, spare tire and a 300 peice Craftsman tool set in the back. Should it rub as bad as they do? The rims are 18 x 8's and the tires are 225/40/18. I'm wondering b/c we were fixing to go get a rim tire package in 18's but now i'm kinda nervous about it. Any info is appreciated, thanks.

18x8 should not rub if your wheel has the right offset for your Prelude. Look into offset and play around with those numbers for a bit. Also, it would help you to get stiffer springs in the near future.
Rolling ur fenders to make some cheap *** wheels off another car with the wrong offset is all the way retarded.
They look like there for RWD.
