Speedometer/Speed Sensor 0-140 MPH.. REPLACED.. NOW WONT WORK AT ALL
Hello,
My speedometer started acting up and the engine light came on the other night.
It would read but jump around particulary at higher speeds like 80-100 mph.
So I changed the cluster, it continued doing it, along with the engine light.
I replaced the VSS in the tranny with the plug and the gear looking thing at the bottom of it. Now it wont work at all, even with the OLD one!!
I have swapped the sensors and the bottom piece on both,
the plug is in.
0 mph...
Ive read their is a fuse? I havent found out which fuse it is. It's not clearly listed anywhere.

Don't know what to say man... I'm in the same boat. Acura wants $300 for the replacement. It had been acting up then when I pulled the transmission and when I put it back nothing. Also have the CEL.
I pulled one from the junkyard, it was $10.
Now the New nor Old one will work.
A few places on the internet said their is a fuse?
I cant find which fuse from the chart.. its not clearly stated and i would think it would run off of the ecu fuse if anything.

check the connector. get a multi meter and jack the car the the pass. wheel is off the ground and turn the key to the on postion. do your voltage drops. on wire should be zero, the next should i think 12v, and the other one should be around 5 volts(when you find this wire turn the wheel it should cycle 0-5-0-5-0-5)
