hey guys i bought a 93 integra ls like 4 months ago and the guy told me it had a stage 2 clutch. today, something weird just happened. when i put the shifter in gear, i have to gas it ALOT before the car actually moves. it does it in every gear. like i really have to step down on the clutch for it to move. is the clutch slipping? let me know yur thoughts!!! thanks!

 

it sounds like your clutch just went out, and by having to stomp the gas to get the car to move can do other damage besides just raping your clutch, its gonna make your trans verry hot, and when things get hot they warp, or just completley shatter

you may just need to adjust the clutch, but it sounds like it went out to me

when you push the clutch in when does it engage, twards the top, middle or bottom?

 

its at the top, pretty high

 

take it for a drive and try speeding up fast and see if the car is moving..
if its messed up the motor will just sound like its winding but its not putting power to ground which means your clutch is shot!
