Default 2000 Civic DX Stall issue

My girlfriends car has been having this wierd issue with stalling.. Every once and a while if she cruises at about 20-25 miles per hour without accellerating the car just dies out. Sometimes it will start back up, other times she has to wait a few minutes, then it will start.

I've searched, can't really get a good idea of what it is... any ideas?

maybe if you would tell us what kinda car it is.. miles. or some sort of info would be good? i've never had that prob before though.. but i had my rx7 do that to me when i turn it off after a 30 drive... cause it was getting flooded...but it was due to leaky injectors... so it wasn't burning up properly...

That's the topic, figured reading that was required first, lol. Thanks for the response though, it's got about 90K miles on it.

Main relay is the most common problem

you can test your main relay to feel for three clicks in the starting process, but it is also common (depending on mileage) for coil/distributor to go bad. If you smell fuel as you are cranking and its not starting, I would bet on the coil/dizzy

Well... no fuel smell, and I forgot to mention that I already tested the main relay.. Also the fuel filter was fine, put it back in. Bought a new battery, gonna whip my my tester to test the alternator I guess.
