2000 dx , p1509 start then die.
my buddys gf has a 2000 dx hatch automatic 100% stock. has a p0420 which im not concerned about right now. also a p1509. car will start then die instintly. will stay running with foot on the throttle. from what ive been looking up so far some people say iacv others are saying ecu. i work full time at the moment and dont have much time to be outside playing around in the dark with this car. any insight and things to check, replace, or someone who has had a similar or the exact same problem please let me know. i dont wanna throw parts at it because shes a bar tender and a student with little money. please dont tell me to clean the iacv trust me ive tried it already on many other hondas with idle surges it does not work.
