i just got a civic and it has the basic viper alarm

i dont know why but the alarm keeps going off

i thinks its the shock sensor being to sensitive

where would the shock sensor be located at and what does it look like?

Very hard to say, it will depend on the model of alarm, it may be a built-in or an off-board, of it is an off-board it may be a clear or black plastic box about the size of a match box with an adjustment screw and a red and green LED, if it's built-in then the alarm brain will have the adjustment **** on it and the brain would be black plastic at least as big as a pack of smokes.

You will need to find the alarm brain and get a model number off it. 94
