Default cars acting really weird. runs then dies, runs then dies

he says, when hes driving, and the engine is hot, (not overheating but just hot from driving it) the itll just die and it wont start for a little bit, thats all i really know and its gotta be simple,

its completely stock, except an intake. d series and all.

check your IAC its behind your mani my car did this for awhile it would run the once i shut it off it would turn on then shut off then after that it wouldnt turn on for like 30sec then start right up it used to do it like twice a day someone told me about the IAC so i changed it neva had the prblem since, check your EGR too maybe after you cruise it stick and get stuck for a second

Is it electrical or fuel? If fuel, you might check the main relay.

sounds like an ignitor problem.. i dunno if you can test them.. might have to read the repair manual. but i know when they got hot and their on their way out, they stop the engine from running. once they cool down the car starts. and the process repeats. something to check into

Does your engine have a crank angle sensor or a crankshaft position sensor?
