Default new cams, won't start

I have an '01 GSR, i just installed new cams and now it won't start. and when it does start it acts like it has a big miss. Valve lash has been adjusted, intake-.007(.17) exhaust-.008(.19). Timing has been checked about 10times so it is correct. It also has new wires, and the plugs are still in very good condition. PLEASE HELP!!

Did you use the red mark to find TDC? Check the cam timing.

I used the white line on the crank pulley. the red line is used for ignition timing. The cam gears are up with lines matching. I thought that the cams may be 180 out but that wasn't it. I'm pretty stumped right now...

Would a tiny bit of slack cause it? wen we put it in time all the lines match up, but after trying to start it the white line on the crank pulley looks to be off by about one tooth.

I always check the cam timing before and after tensioning the timing belt.

Part of the problem seems to be the valve lash was a hair off, re-adjusting now
