Timing mark question

Default Timing mark question

Is this the tdc mark or is the other white line the tdc mark ?

The pointer looks aligned with the TDC1 mark.

Yes i realized it after it was uploaded.
but i only ask because if thats my tdc line my cams dont point straight up they both point 11 oclock instead of 12 if you know what i mean.

Your mechanical timing is off by a tooth or two.

Don't get distracted. The other mark is NOT the TDC1 mark. Set the timing correctly.

just making sure i 2nd guessed myself and i got curious.
so i set my crank at tdc slip off the belt and turn the cams to tdc without the belt on ?

Yep

Then turn the crank pulley a couple of revolutions counterclockwise to verify that the timing is still correct. Then tension the belt.
