Default Cracked Manifold on a 2000 Honda CX

I got a check engine light for my O2 sensor and when I was changing it I noticed a hairline cracked on the manifold.

When researching information about the cracked manifold I came across and Emissions Extension Warranty for my car and its manifold on this website.

Does anyone have any specific information about the Emissions Extension Warranty? I can't find anything else about it except the one post listed on here.

Also, if you had your manifold replaced how much did it cost you?

Unfortunatly, the catalytic converter is integrated with the exhaust manifold. Prices I've seen range from over $300 to over $550.

As for the Emissions Extention Warranty, I am not sure.

Since the cat is integrated, it's a firm possibility that your car might be covered. As ekb16 said, give the dealership a call and see, it certainly can't hurt anything.

Call the dealership. I know they're supposed to have a limit on the age of the vehicle and when the claim is done.

i work at the dealership in wilsonville, or. i regret to inform you the emissions warrenty only covers the 96-98 years for civic. up to 14 years, or 150,000 miles. i'd tell you how much you're going to have to pay for another stock manifold also, but my parts catalog on IN isnt working right now... damn next gen parts catalog garbage.

Majestic Honda lists the list prices, which could at least give a rough idea of the price. It varies from dealership to dealership though.
