there is an electric heater in the O2 sensor to make the sensor read more accurately faster after engine start up.
Both those codes are pointing to a problem of the heater circuit; possibly no voltage to the heater or the heater is bad in the sensor.
At the sensor plug the red[pin2] and blue [pin1] wires go to the heater circuit, on the harness side there should be 12V within 80 seconds of engine start.
The corresponding terminals to the heater circuit should show about 10-40 ohms resistance across the heater.
Check the ECM/Cruise Control 15 amp fuse in the drivers side dash fuse box;
Also check the passenger side dash fuse box 20 amp LAF Heater fuse

Thanks MR Yamada
Your info is very helpful. I will check this in A.M. ...just got home from work 9:30pm. If it is one of the fuses... just replace and reset code?
I'm guessing if part of 02 sensor (heater) I have to replace the sensor?
Last question which OEM aftermarket 02 sensor is good for my car.
Thank You

Ok, found out today that it is the front 02 sensor that needs to be replaced.
Could anyone tell me where I can get one for under $200.00 . This is the sensor located on the exhaust manifold (ULEV 01 ACCORD EX 4cyl.)
Thanks

For some some strange reason my car needs the sensor for an 02 model.
I ended up having to get it local as the Info given by J.C. Whitney was
incorrect (cancelled order). They told me they could ship overnight, when in fact that was wrong.
This part was coming directly from factory and for some unexplained reason
they can't ship overnight from there.
Anyway, car is back to normal and thanks for all your help.

I'm new to this site but what I think many have forgot to mention is , make sure if you had any maintenance / repairs done make sure all sensor plugs and wiring has been plugged back in and fastened correctly. This will throw a code of P1166 and P1167

Yes sir... test and check connections is always the first step in diagnostic troubleshooting. You had to reach way back for this one........this thread is almost 10 years old.

Why are we getting all these 10 year thread bumps by 1 post members? Bots?

Because when you do a Google search for a topic it will bring up threads on this and other sites that may be 15 years old. So people post without looking at the date. They just assume the thread is recent.

My O2 sensor (upstream) has the part number 192400-1020 engraved on it. What other part numbers is the exact equivalent to this part number? I've seen part numbers that start with 234-xxxx but i'm really confused on what to buy for my 02 accord ex with an F23A type engine (JDM). Thank you for any help you guys can share.

I just got the downstream O2 sensor from RockAuto.com. The link you need is: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...2)+sensor,5132
Find your engine code to make sure you get the right sensor. You can find this on the top of the engine itself. It should say F23A1 F23A4 or F23A5.

Hope this helps....Rockauto is a great place to buy from though.

I searched the code I recieved and found this thread. Very little digging required lol it gives me an idea what to expect. I only commented so you know it's a common search result when you Google that code.
