Default 1994 Honda Accord fan (blower) - heater/ac

I have a 1994 Honda Accord LX. The interior heater/ac fan (blower) only turns on at hi. It does not come on on switch 1 or 2....just on 3. I checked all fuses and all seems o.k..

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

i had that same problem with this ol 94 mercury tracer 'beater' i useta drive around. i think it was the resistor block causing the problem. might be ur case as well

resister block?

is this a DIY job or does it need a mechanic for repair?

very simple to replace.
sounds like the blower motor resister is failed when only the high speed works.

i have a 94 accord ex and have the same problem, do i have to change out the blower motor as well? i turn on each speed and it does nothing but i see my climate control lights dim for a split second as im moving through the fan speeds1, 2, 3, and 4. i believe i am getting current but no air blows out the vent. i even checked under the hood fuse and everything is ok, thought it was a bad switch but when i switch it to #1 speed and hit the ac button it lights up and compressor starts running.

blower motor has nothing top do with the resistor....they are two different things...im not exactly sure where it is on your accord but if you pick up a shop manual and get the part it should be a DIY job.....replacing the blower motor will do nothing for you
