Default SKUNK2 OR TYPE-R??????

hey whats a better intake maifold? the factory 01 tpe-r or should i swap it for the skunk2?

sk2 is a copy of the itr im. just stick with the oem setup unless you have a ported one with a ported TB and ported head to go with it

Not sure if one is better, get the cheaper used or new of the 2.

I know for a GSR motor the Skunk 2 is much better and for a B16 the ITR made a large difference too.

Never used anything but ITR for the ITR stock motor.

i have the skunk2 pro series on my built head port matched to my 68mm professional products TB so I say skunk2 only if you are building....

i just took of the type r one today and put on a skunk2 1st gen intake mani i like it more but im running a b16b in eg hatch

There is no difference. Skunk2 IM is a ITR copy. Skunk2 Pro IM is a fresh design.

The first gen one is a direct copy. And the pro one supposedly flows better.

not true, the gen1 s2 im is not the same as an itr unit. it looks the similar, but, its different. i believe the s1 has a slightly bigger plenum and shorter runners. something like that
