Default Rear tranmission bracket not fitting for B16 swap into EG (help needed fast)

I bought a rear transmission bracket advertised as a 94-01 integra 5-spd part, tried bolting it up but the two lower vertical holes are closer together than the holes on my tranny and it won't fit.

I have a JDM B16 with a 96' GSR transmission, I was under the assumption from reading FAQ's that any 94-01 teg rear mount would work. I need to know if I have to find a 96' GSR specific rear bracket for this swap to work. I leave for school in a week and don't have much time to mess around with this stupid thing.

Please help me, lol

it should fit. the only one that i think is different is the 00 (EM1) civic si.
the bracket and mount can be a pain, just be patient and keep trying.

No need to keep trying, if the 2 vertical holes on the t-bracket are closer than the 2 vertical holes on the tranny, it's simple physics, that it won't work.

Yeah, in this case there is no 'fudging' it into working.

-Not a d-series mount, compared the two
-Not a 90-93 integra mount
-It looks just like every other 94-01 integra bracket I see pictures of on the net, the holes just aren't lining up.

This leads me to assume that Acura has made transmission/year specific rear mounts. I have, however, compared the part numbers from a 94 LS and a 96 GSR rear mounts from Acuraparts.net and they are the same numbers. At this point I have no [freak]ing clue what mount I need and it looks like my swap will not be finished in time because of this.

The thought crossed my mind that it could perhaps be an auto bracket. The rest of the mount will bolt to the cross member or block fine, it's just those two damn holes. They aren't even THAT far off, like 1/4 inch on each side.

It looks like i'm going to have to pony up and find another stupid rear mount and compare again.

go to a local junkyard and tell them to get you a 94-01 integra back mount and compare it..if its identical to yours then u dont have to buy it but if its different then u kno u got the wrong one!
