should i trade my b20vtec swap for a fully built gsr turbo swap?
Hi, i have a 2000 si that i did a fully build on 2 years ago. I did a b20 vtec fully built top to bottom and made 226whp. i have roughly about 6000 miles on the swap and its been sitting in my driveway in my coupe for about 8 months to a year. i cant drive it b/c of mass inspections blow and i havnt had a valid sticker for over a year and a half. The swap is absolutly mint and has never had a problem and as of anybody when i hear fully built turbo i listen. My boy has a 01' type r with a fully built gsr turbo thats makin around 550whp but his car is also sitting and rarely gets driven. hes needs to put a motor in it that he can drive with good gas and doesnt want any problems b/c he wants it to be a daily driver. So we started talking about swapping swaps and now im wondering what other people think of this. at first i was like hell yea but i been reading and i think that a monster n/a setup is just so superior that im double thinkin this idea. My motor is b20b bottom end bored 84.5 wit cp slugs 12.5 compression, eagle h beam rods, polished b20 crank etc. Head is b16 port and polished buddy club spec 4 cams, REV racing full valve train, ITR intake man. and header, rc 440 injectors, etc. tranny is b16 with jdm 4.7 final drive and a jdm type r dif. His swap is a gsr with golden eagle sleeves and basically fully built besides its got stock cams but still makes 550whp easily. And ideas if anyone would swap a monster b20vtec swap to go turbo let me know...
p.s. my coupe doesnt need to be a daily driver i have another car to drive daily!!!

BuMp...> pretty much decided on keeping my b20vtec pulling it out this weekend and doing a wire tuck and putting a new intake manifold and throttle body on then retuning with s300
