* sometimes it starts right away and sometimes it does not!
1. cold start - turn key to on hear fuel pump starts right away or i have to crank 5-6 times; 8-10 cranks.
2. warm start - turn key to on do not hear fuel pump starts right away or i have to crank 5-6 times; 8-10 cranks.
* new battery and connections - 150,000 on new car to me - no maintenance records - i just finished timing belt/pulley/water pump.

If you're not hearing your fuel pump prime then your main relay is taking a crap. This happens in hot weather.
