HELP!!!!!!!! 99gsr dont know what to do
hey all i got a 99 2dr gsr bought it bone stock i was plannin to do turbo but now am undecided.. in the past year since ive had it i put on tein ss coilovers, an aem v2 cai, skunk2 im, dc 4-1 headers, apexi ws2 catback, skunk2 lcas, skunk2 short shifter and shift ****. i was thinkin to go stage 2 cams and gears next but dnt know wut brand would be best.. the motors got 77k miles but i need a new clutch also what clutch do i go with competition clutch stage 3 or am i fine with a stage 2? i want to run at least 13's... so where do i go from here????
1st you have to decided if you want to go boost or NA. Then it how much u want to spend and power u want to make. If you go with NA toda, crower and skunk2 make good cams. There a lot of chiceo out there. For your clutch it more on if you use it as a DD or a race car. I like ACT clutchs.

HAVE U BEEN TO THE TRACK LATELY TO SEE WHAT ITS RUNNING NOW AS IT SITS? THINK ABOUT THAT..TUNING IS PROGRESSIVE..WHAT ABOUT TIRES? DO U WANT TO USE UR DD TIRES OR FULL SLICKS? CLUTCH? DEPENDS IF ITS YOUR DAILY THEN PROBABLY A STREET DISC FROM ACT OR COMPETITION...IF NOT 6 PUCK..ALSO WHEN U DECIDE WHAT CAMS,U SHOULD GET THE CAR TUNED FOR YOUR SET-UP TO GET THE MOST GAINS...GOOD LUCK

yea i went to the track twice with the bad clutch.. best time is 15.8 which is garbage cuz stock it should be runnin 15.5.. and yes its going to be my dd as far as cams im lookin at skunk2 stage 2's or brian crower stage 2's any suggestions? and would it matter which cam gears i choose?
My opinion would be get a lsd in your tranny! ive had a couple of brand name clutches act, exedy, stg 1-3 in the end i came to like f-1 clutches from gripforce they work just as good and for half the price, in your case a stg 2 will be fine!
If you want a good cam set up like buddyclub3+ i have these in my gsr!, skunk2 stg 1-2, sk2 stg1 tunner series, to name a few cams that will work good! tuning is a must get your self a hondata s100 and dyno tune your car by a good tuner or else your car will drive like crap at least if you put in cams! a streat leagal turbo set up like a gready will give you at least 250+ but you wont have that neck snaping throtle response you would from n.a!

something might be wrong dude the GSRs around here run low low15 to high 14 with ur type of mods.
for 13s ur gonna need spray or a built motor

exactly..thats wut im saying i should be in the high 14's... anyway what if i switch my ecu? to a p73 woul that right off the bat help me out being that i got a skunk2 im? hp to me dont matter i dnt wanna spray i just wanna run at least 13's
