Wat to do about oil?

Default Wat to do about oil?

Ok, so anyway my hatch burns a little oil so i put the lucas stop leak in and it say's for every 4 qts of oil add one quart of the stop leak.....so thats what i do but it is showing it to be a little bit past the 2nd dot on the dipstick meaning its overfilled...what should I do?

Measured it, its about 3/4's of an inch over the second dot.... and by the time the stop leak kicks in it will prolly burn some of it up

that 1 quart to every 4 is just an example. it doesnt mean that you have to put 5 quarts into something that only holds 4. drain a quart out.

it will burn out i believe it has before...bout 200 mles of driving it will drop some when the stop leak kicks in.....even if something does happen i figure o well its only a d15b1 engine and it would give me reason to upgrade

Overfilling the crackcase causes pressure problems that can blow out your rings and cause severe oil blowby/burning. Not to mention forcing oil leaks in the pan gasket....

There is a reason that there are marks on the dipstick.
