Default Engine light/ cluster Help please.

Hi there everyone im new to this forum and i hope to learn and get help from you guys, so first of all thanks to whoever replies to this post.

Car: Integra type R(Australian Spec, B18c7)
Problem: Cluster/ Engine light

Its been 2 Months since ive had a cluster or VSS(Vechile speed sensor) Problem, my needle on my car would go nuts, when driving 60 it would go up to 180, back to 0 then 30 etc etc. Asking around mechanics have been saying its the VSS problem. After replacing the VSS, Brand new Genuine Honda VSS it would still not work.

Before getting the Vss installed, the cluster actually died on me, Not completely though.. Rev, Temperature, Fuel still work, but the Km/h and odometer wont work.
the engine light would come on after a good 15min drive and at a complete stop the RPM's would stay above 1000rpm... it would actually stay at about 1500rpm. My mechanic has also done a ECU check and he says it gives him a code 16 error(Hardware Failure i think he said)

Anyways conclusion: Speedo/ Odometer isnt working, After a good drive 10-15 minutes engine light would come on and revs would stay at 1500rpm(car has been warmed up proper) Brand New VSS has been installed and another cluster has been tested on my car too and it did not work and engine light still comes on! Please help this has been my problem for far to long its a rare problem my mechanic says Thanks.
