Highest Wattage Bulbs For Stock Wiring/Housings
Hi all,
I recently purchase new bulbs for my dc2 integra. Upon opening the box, The 9006 low beam bulbs are 80 watts and the 9005 high beams are 65 watts. I could have sworn I got both 65 watt, but o well. Its my mistake if its wrong. I think the limit is 65 watts, I just wanted to check before I put it in and mess my harness up. Thanks!
P.S. I did search.

For 9006 low beam bulbs, 55W is the legal limit. For 9005 high beam bulbs, 65W is the legal limit.
Anything higher, is more than the housing and wiring was designed to handle, and illegal.

Thanks for the reply and help. I thought the 9006's were too many watts. I just ordered another set of 55 watt 9006's. Now to sell the 80 watt ones. I don't return something when I buy in error, LOL.
