Default Cylinder Position Sensor

Alrite just this morning i replaced the distributer on my 1996 Acura Integra GSR. I was hoping this would fix the problem of it burning oil because when it started burning oil the check engine light came on and that was the only code (CYP) but it didnt. Any ideas?????

Default Re: Cylinder Position Sensor (RapidResponse)

1. If you are burning oil, it will never be a result of your distributor.

2. If you had a CYP code before you replaced your distributor and still have it after you replaced your distributor, you have a wiring problem.

3. The CYP sensor is NOT replaceable by itself from the dealer. (unless you have other dist's you can take apart to replace the sensor)
