HI I HAVE A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AND I COUNTED BLINKS AND ITS THROWING CODE 9 CYP SENSOR WHAT IS THIS? HOW IMPORTANT IS IT? CAN I CLEAN IT OR IS IT A REPLACE ONLY ITEM?

 

Its usually your distributor, but i would check other things out too.

I threw this code too and replace my dizzy which still didnt work, but then i swap to a different ecu and bam the light was gone.

Just make sure you try it before you buy it

 

P1381 Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor Intermittent Interruption
P1382 Cylinder Position (CYP) Sensor No Signal

 

Look up the diagnosis procedure on Google. It should help. I just had this stupid problem and replaced my distributor after testing everything.
