Default Uh oh, is this ok?

Lets see, here's a long story short. I have a 7th gen civic, it used to be NHBP, i sanded it down to bare metal, shot HOK KD2000 primer, sealed it with Kustom shop epoxy primer, shot single stage acrylic urethane, didn't like it, sanded it down again, but not all the way to metal.

Ok, so then I've been doing body work and trying to flatten it out as much as possible, I've broken though to bare metal in some spots. I used a spray can primer in some places to protect the bare metal for just a little bit.

After that when I got some money together, I took it in a got it sealed with more kustom shop epoxy primer

here's the question: Should I be worried about adhesion or anything on those areas where I used a regular spray can primer? (since it wasn't catalyzed or whatever?)

BTW, what was your sanding process? Like what grits did you use until you shot the primer?, and if you sanded the primer with what grit did you use before paint.

Epoxy will seal out everything underneath it.

I sanded the original paint with 80, then 120. Then got epoxy primer on top, then sanded with 120 and 220, did all the body work, got more epoxy prime. The body is still not perfectly straight, so Im going to get a 2k urethane on top then block it down.

It looks like your bodywork is bleeding through the last round of primer.

you shouldn't have any problems with that rattle can primer. we use it all the time at work for small spots like that. as long as you dont use it on a larger spot you will be just fine

His bodywork will bleed through that last coat of primer. It's epoxy not high build. It doesn't hid the bodywork its used to seal it so it doesn't soak up water.
