So my mom was driving her 2000 honda civic and all of a sudden based on her account "i was just driving normally. then the engine just got cut off and when i tried turning it on it just cranks and cranks but never turns on."

so its the only family car we have, i tried searching to no avail. any help on what it may be?

 

did you trouble shoot? may be a bad fuel pump relay or a bad pump in general...is the car getting spark? its possible it needs a new dizzy

 

and diagnostics test I can do by myself to figure out if its the fuel pump?
