Changing Manual transmission fluid on 1997 Integra.
I've had this car for 4 months and I'm unsure if the prior owner did any fluid change to the tranny.
Its a 1997 GS with roughly 130k on it.
Any recommendations? Do's and Don'ts?
What fluid should I use and what should I NOT use?
Some insight would be helpful.
Thanks

Use Honda MTF. If the tranny feels a bit notchy or if its starting to grind, use a mixture of Honda MTF and GM Synchromesh modified or just straight synchromesh depending on how bad the tranny is.
So what's the difference between these three:
-Redline MTF
-Synchroshift
-Honda MTF
Should I stay away from synthetic stuff because of the mileage?

So I did a little research and so far the GM stuff has been getting nothing but great results.
They said that getting the penzoil stuff is the same. Is it true?

Pennzoil has there own brand/type of GM's Syncromesh, it is supposed to be an exact replacement only cheaper. I used to use it in all my Mustang trans and its worked well. I think I'm going to go ahead and put it in my DC too since its beginning to get "notchy" going into 3rd...
not to sure about the other brands, but i've used nothing but Honda MTF on my B16 along with other Honda's i've worked on.
