radiator fan decided it didnt want to turn on

Default radiator fan decided it didnt want to turn on

got another one from the junk yard, and guess what? same problem

what else could be the culprit? the wiring? any how too's?

The switch is on the thermostat housing. With key on, jumper the plug for it. Fan should come on. If not check the fuse and relay. If still no check your wiring.

My friend's del slo had all kinds of cooling issues a short while back... the radiator cracked so we replaced it. Then it was still running hot so I checked and sure enough the fan wasn't coming on so I checked the fuses/relays and they were all fine (even jumped the fan to see that the motor worked). So I figure it must be the Coolant Temp. Sensor, now the fan would come on but it would still run hot, must be the thermostat. Replace the thermostat and fixes everything, I figue one thing broke and led to everything else breaking.
