Default Quick questions

I recently purchsed a 1991 civic DX with a D16a6,long story short the motor was knocking real bad and it lost all compresion and power. So i bought a D16z6 for a good price and plan to drop it on my hatch. One of my questions is i have a y8 manifold that i plan to put on the engine before i drop it in,is it possible to do this or i need the whole y8 head and the other question is if i can put that manifold can i swap sensors from the a6? Thanks

ya all d series manifolds are the same it will bolt up fine. you can leave all the sensors on it besides the injectors. or if its bare all the a6 sensors will work on it. i think on the y8 there is an extra sensor on the fuel rail that you dont need and i think theres an extra vacum hole you gota plug. also there is not iat sensor on a y8 manifold it was mounted on the intake arm so dont forget about that. are you keeping it obd0 or obd1?
