91 integra ls block, will b16b pistons be ok to put on stock ls rods for higher compression?

91 integra ls block, will b16b pistons be ok to put on stock ls rods for higher compression?
I have a 91 integra with a b18a1 and I just bought and bought new b16b pistons for it and a buddy told me i could used my stock rods and it would put me from 9.2:1 CR to 11.4:1 CR? Is this ok to do and has anyone done it?
