Help I need 9:1 compression!!!
Alright here's the setup B16B head and block with a LS crank and LS rods (to convert to 1.8). Do I use 9:1 LS pistons or 9:1 b16 pistons to get the compression I want? I'm confused on wrist pin placement and combustion chamber size with the B16b head.
Any more info needed on the setup let me know.

Re: Help I need 9:1 compression!!! (bootlegcivic)
Well the B16B is the same height as the B18 so you'd treat it as an LS/Vtak. So LS 9:1 pistons should yield a slightly higher compression, something like 9.1:1 or 9.2:1, but B16 9:1 pistons will probably put you at 9.8:1 or 9.9:1. Compression ratio is the volume of the cylinder+volume of combustion chamber over volume of combustion chamber, and a B18B crank has a much longer stroke, so you it would be compressing a much larger air/fuel mix into the same space.

--- I agree with what he says, just look @ that site. Do your set up and look @ comp you get.
I was gonna use pr3 pistons on my lsV setup but thanks to this site i decided no. I was gonna yield almost 13:1 comp haha. WAY to high for what i want.
