Lightweight Flywheel and a smell?
About 2 months or so we put a Fidanza 7 1/2lb flywheel on a gsr and shortly after the car had a funny smell kind of like a mix of clutch and brakes. there was hesitation starting as well and we thought of a clogged cat. replaced that today with an invidia test pipe and the hesitation is gone, yet the smell is still there. the smell is coming out of the exhaust and not else where..any suggestions?
It could be some residue left over from before the cat was removed.
More likely it's clutch related. Did you replace the clutch along with the flywheel? Also with a really light flywheel free revving and shifts tend to be less precise and can inadvertently cause more slippage while engaging/disengaging the clutch.

Did you get oil on the pressure plate, flywheel or clutch disc by any chance? If any of the surfaces got contaminated that could be the cause of your problems. Sorry to tell you but you may have to remove the tranny and inspect the clutch and flywheel.
My car smells like that when I get on it. Is this problem only happening when you are pushing the car or is it whenever you drive it?

if someone is behind the car you can smell it but inside the car or driving you cannot smell it until you are stopped
