VTEC not working on JDM b18c turbo tuned on crome p28 ecu... help
ok, i know everyone will say check your vtec solenoid, and the filter in front of it and on it, check your oil pressure sensor and make sure all wiring is working. All of that is good and working, something is telling my ecu not to engauge the vtec solenoid, or the ecu it's self is suddenly not capable of it. I have done ocntonuity tests on all wiring from ecu to solenoid and all is good. i hooked up a volt meter set to peak and hold on the wire going to the solenoid and it never showed any voltage at all... that wis directly out of the ecu.
I'm stumped
I even tried a new oil pressure switch and put voltage to the solenoid manually and it is working fine.
Yes car is up to running temperature, I have good oil pressure, am moving, yada yada yada.
i have been tuned without any changes since last summer with no problems, so it's not a new tune....
BUT i am having silly idling (revving up and down slightly) and startup issues (i have to hit the throttle) is it possible that it could be a throttle position sensor?

is there any way to bypass the vtec solenoid wiring in the ecu like the oil pressure switch? (search
