Ok so I put my radio in and put it in place. Then sparks came from no where. From the radio area. (I knew the car has shitty wiring but this hadnt happened before...I just put the stock radio in...)

Then I tried turning on my car. First turn...makes the annoying sound when door is open. Second turn...nothing shows up on dash/cluster...so it won't even click over.

My lights works...annoying noise when door is open works...so I doubt it is the battery due to the fact that I was charging it the same day.

Just nothing lights up on my dash/cluster.

Anyone have any ideas what it might be and how to fix it?

step one...check over you wiring... something is grounding out
step two... check for blown fuses and go from there

 

happened to me befor the blue wires that are from the back of the stero i took out then put back in and took the battary cables off for a few minutes and retryed to start the car and it worked

And the blue wires from the clip that goes into the stock radio?
Not even sure how to go about it.

 

i had to pop the radio out well it was out when i got to it my car got broken into and i guess they wanted the stock radio lol
