who out there has a fmax turbo or knows someone with it??
what car do they have and motor???
me myself i havnt run it yet, but im told it should run a 12.4 or 12.5 in my hatch
on slicks of course
i have a 92 civic cx with a ex (sohc vtec) motor with full race clutch (pain in the butt on the street)

It might run 12's with more than stock boost and plenty of tuning....and of course slicks too.

 

Im thinking about it....$4,800 installed seems like a lot of money though.

casue i think a turbo like this is a pain in the butt for a daily driver
cause u go through clutches left and right, gets annoying, and then if u screw up ur tranny, that sux too.

with my sohc vtec in my 92 cx hatchback

I go to a extremily great shop.
the shop was telling me yesterday, that if i made it a full drag car.
i could hiot 10's with my stock internals with fmax bolton
.
now i know this is no bull, hes not the type of guy thta would make up some bull@@@@ to make $$

hes talking about fully gutting and doing the body
fiberglass doors, either a ! peaice front end or carbon hood and fiber fenders

then a expencive suspension(forgot the name)

but this is in my cx 92 hatch which is alot lighter then most honda's
so this makes it not street legal.
which would cost 5k

or i can spend 5k on fully building the motor ( sending it to cali)
and putting a a few K feul system in it
a fridn of mine has a ex civic 95 with a famx turbo fuily build sohc (localy here in tx though) and were expecting it to hit high 11 low low 12

and in mine im hopefully running it tonight, and he expects mine to run low 12's
