hey guys i have a ls/vtec with 9.2:1 arias pistons and eagle rods and bored .20 over. i have a t3 turbo and i'm using the afc hack cuz the fmu wasn't workin for me and i don't have money for a zdyne computer. anyways i have the afc set at
-35% all across. when i hit about 5500rpm and on the vafc i'm at .6 bar my car surges then backfires. i'm trying to get to a dyno and see my a/f ratio but does anyone have a ls/vtec using the hack that can help me out? i'd appreciate it a lot thanks!

 

I take it you are running 450cc injectors. A 35% cut may not be enough. -35% at idle is good but try leaning it out 40-45% at higher rpm. Thats what I run on my LS/Vtec turbo, I cut about 30% at idle and -42% at WOT with 450cc injectors.

PS Backfiring is too much fuel.
