Default Ground control spring rate help needed..

I'm getting some GCs with koni yellows for my 95 hatch...

This is a daily driver. I don't plan on going super low, and I want a good handling ride, but one that won't make my teeth fall out either. I don't have a sway bar yet, but will prob pick up a tie bar/sway bar combo at some point in the future.

Just wondering what you guys suggest for spring rates? Should I just go with off the shelf, or should I go stiffer?

thanks!

OTS rates will bottom out and ride like @$$ if you lower it too far.

so you want it slammed and not ride like ****?

get air bags?

if it's going to be really low you need stiff springs. stiff springs will affect ride quality.

so need to make a choice.

heh even air bags can be super stiff. Air bags are progressive in that they get stiffer the more the suspension is compressed, but it gets much stiffer MUCH quicker than the typical street car progressive lowering spring does.

If thats what you like its cool, but the poster specified he will not be going super low, so maybe its best to stick with his needs? If he is sensible with his drop, OTS will be fine. Get the Integra application if you want something a little stiffer.

I read it the exact same way.

Perhaps there's been some ninja editing?
