how to replace spark plug seals?

how to replace spark plug seals?
anyone knows how to remove the old spark plug seals off the valve cover? they are stuck on there good and impossible to just pull them out by hand. i need to put new ones on there

yea that's what i tried with, did nothing. Maybe i'll try again with a hammer, i read that there's a metal ring inside to hold the rubber in place
