I wouldn't impact it on. I don't think that nut is torqued that much anyways.

Yea, well I would like to see him impact it on at 36ft pounds. NOT I take no responsibility with what he does, so just throwing the tq spec out there.

You not being able to spell "truly", truly boggles my mind.

get a fat *** breaker bar and turn it off. it feels like it will snap but trust me it wont. ive done this with a little ratchet and put my intake on it for more leverage and it came right off.

It is not on there tight from the factory, a tq wrench or breaker bar will get it off with ease, few taps with a mallet will break it loose on the end of the wrench you are using if using a breaker or ratchet...no tapping the tq though haha.

I've been known to use a tire iron on occasion...the cross kind. It gets the job done

you could take it off with the impact it wont hurt.i use an impact to take off everything hell i do headgaskets and take the bolts off with a impact!!!i even take the spark plugs out and put them in with an air ratchet ha ha..just be careful and dont try to muscle everything.i once worked at a shop that the owner saw me putting in the spark plugs with a air ratchet he ran over there on the last spark plug and was like what the!!!!i have been doing it for years working proffesionally.
