Default New Member. Need Help Please

Hello to all. I have been a member on Acurazine for a while now. But Im on the search for a del Sol. So I have come here for some support.

I have two del Sols in mind at the point. ONe with an H22 swap and the other with a Type R swap. What are some of the positive and negatice sides of the swaps. And what would you suggest, thanks much.

Kyle

heres the cars

I dont think that Type R swap looks riced at all. A big wing and sponsors, or more like "sponsers" up the QP is rice IMHO. Or honeycomb mesh grilles.

The h22 is the one i'd go with, faster and cleaner.

Well what are your future plans for the car ? I think H22 are extremely front heavy but all depends on you.

Eventually I would want to turbo it. Couldn' t tell you when. Im a full time student so coming up with the money would be the hardest part. Which is better to turbo.

The type r setup the h22 setup in a del-sol has very minimal space to do a clean setup but the h22 will make more power with less work.

Personally, i'd go for the type-r. Much nice looking than the red one imo. That's just me

I'm afraid the Type R one will have OBD2 problems if the engine was correctly installed.

The H22 one is nice..Gl!

Damn. It's been a while since I've wondered about OBD2 stuff.

If that's a real B18C5 engine, and if not swapped in correctly, you'll have wiring problems.

Just read up on it. I'm sorry, I don't remember much to give you correct information.

Could someone shed some light onto this topic?

Oh..About H22 del Sols, I heard that they have bad understeering. >.>

The type-r is a 93 delsol so it must have a obd1 ecu so its not looking for the additional sensors so dont worry about if its obd2
