Default splash gards worth it

dose anybody ever keep there splash gards in the engine bay cus myn are trashed and i dont wana buy new one but i dono if it will mess anything up on a rainey day????

well theres ones under the radator and ones by the fenders but not under the finders i just wana kno if its ok to take them out

dont do it if you have a cold air intake, you may hydrolock the motor. other than that it will probably just let a bit of dirt into the bay

I left mine on.

my fender splashguards came off my accord while i was on the interstate (pretty damn scary sounding). i didn't think much of it at the time an didn't replace them. one day it rained real bad and i hit a decent sized puddle. water sucked into my intake, into the motor and blew a quarter sized hole in the block. so spend 50 bucks and replace the spashguards or spend 500 bucks and replace the motor.... or atleast cover the holes in the engine bay on the intake side with some duct tape

I took it off my integra one time, nothing scary or anything happened, but if it's still stable then just leave it there.
