Rear Wiper Block Off
There seems to be nothing in the archives on this for DC's... I know it's been done before so what are you guys using to block off the hole? Is there an OEM grommet that'll fit the hole, or are we just using stuff from Home Depot to block it off?
you could either use the one in your firewall near the battery or you could get the 92-95 civic plug off a cx

its easy. i did mine yesterday
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2359411
go to home depot and buy a 1 inch hole filer cap in the bolts and nuts section. only $.40 and it fits perfectly. had to color it black though... i was too lazy to pull it out of firewall

Correction on your part: It's actually a 1.25" metal plug, not 1"
Now my question to you is: How did you seal the plug onto the window? The way it's designed, water will get through it without a doubt. The prongs on the plug aren't long enuff to put a rubber o ring between the window and the plug. I got mine on there temporarily until the rain comes.
My damn firewall grommet is missing as well haha.

I don't know if you still have it, but your car did come with a big rubber grommet that has a hole in the center, where the shaft for the wiper 'axle' went to
If you don't have this part, i bet you could order it from a honda/acura parts dealer.
I kept that in when i removed my rear wiper.. any my first idea was to put a wine cork in the center, but i found a 'synthetic' wine cork made out of some kind of rubbery, plasticy substance. It fit friggin' perfectly. Problem solved.
Although rediculously overpriced, heeltoe automotive sells a 'oem plug' for the rear wiper.

I still have that grommet, and it's been takin out. I was thinking about doing the method in the second link posted by choji (which utilizes that grommet), but the damn oem plug they listed cost a wopping $27... gheyy! I'll think of something. Home Depot didn't really have sh*t, but I'll hit up ACE and OSH today.
**$45 for the damn Heeltoe plug that's the same damn thing as the $27 OEM piece from choji's link.... what a rip lol!!**

it is a rip.
then use your grommet. If you happen to drink wine, go buy a bottle now. problem solved
.
Don't know how well a conventional cork will hold up to very heavy rain during the winter though, but it should keep your interior safe at the car wash and such! i mean, cork expands when it recieves water!
if you are close to a winery, you could be gangsta and walk in there and ask for a cork. they throw corks away all day in a tasting room.

i painted mine to match my body.. looks ok actually! the cork is sunk down enough that it is flush with the rubber grommet and doesn't stick out.
any other kind of plug is not going to help you as far as theft protection goes.
It really comes down to aesthetics.
Me, i just didn't wanna pay that $$$ for a freakin' piece of rubber. That and my car is no showpiece to begin with.

i used silicone for window and door trim all around the glass opening so the plug is sorta glued to it. the oem one is metal if that helps the justify the $27
