92 Civic dies at every stop
I just picked up a 92 Civic DX Sedan. Completely stock. The car will idle fine, even when warmed up, however, when I come to a stop after driving the car will die 9 out of 10 times. It does with the AC on or off, the radio on or off, nearly everytime. It will start right back up, and as long as I don't push the gas, the car will continue to idle fine. Once I leave the red light/stop sign/etc the car will then just die at the next one. Anybody have any ideas what to do to fix it? I was considering buying new spark plugs anyway since I just picked the car up, don't know if that'd make a difference. Anyways, thanks in advance for any advice.
The only light that comes on occasionally is the SRS =\
It's a manual.
Also, I just finished driving it some more, and I don't even have to come to a complete stop. Alot of times when I'm coming to a known stop, I push the clutch in and put the car in neutral, the car dies then while still moving. Occasionally, while downshifting (to slow down, to speed up) the car will also die. Don't know if this makes a difference but figured I'd throw it out there as well.
BTW, the spark plugs look pretty new, so I may or may not replace them unless it's anticipated to be the problem.
Thanks again.
