Vtec Solenoid
I'm new to this website, read alot of tech talk on here and heard alot about this website. I'm new to Hondas, i just sold my 95 Mustang GT still miss it but i'm starting to like my civic. I bought a 99 civic si, and looking under the hood i notice my vtec solenoid doesn't look right..like i said im new so i don't know what any of these parts are. But there is a wire that is barely even connected to the solenoid. Is there something i need to get to connect it or is it just broken? Right now its just layin in the square part of the solenoid. Sorry for the lame description!

It's the dps ground wire im pretty sure, i got that off google. The wire on my car is black though, and i dont have the little cover over the solenoid. So im guessing all i need to do is get that cover and everything should be ok? The wire is just barely touching the solenoid. If i get the cover, is there something in the cover that will hold it in place?
