so i recently traded my EK for a 91 ef hatch single turbo. i was drivin the car around like 10 minutes before i did the fuel pump and it was runnin fine but right after i put it all back togther it jus will turn over and no start ..i made sure its gettin fuel and spark....messed with the timing on the dizzy a lil but only maybe a pop here and there like it wants to start but nothin..

any advice will help

so I take it that it does have fuel and spark. Does it?

Did you double check the work you did getting the fuel pump in?

a bit more info would help.

 

funny thing is i have the same problem right now, i have a b18b in a 93 hatch, i put the fuel pump in, it ran for 3 days and one morning just wont start, i replaced the spark plugs, rebuild the distributor 3 times using other used distributors. ive changed back to the old pump and it still doesn't want to fire the motor is running 150 compression accross the board. i used a different ecu and ive replaced the fuel pressure regulator. now i dont know if they problem is the same but the last thing i did was the pump soo... anyone have a resolution it may be the same problem. but maybe not. lol
