DON"T TYPE LIKE THIS.

You need to read much in the forced induction forum and establish your goals to determine the pathway to successfully arrive there.

Generally the gsr motors can handle up to 330whp safely from what I read. If your motor has a crapload of miles, just do a typical engine rebuild and replace the rings, bearings, pumps, etc. If you wanna make 400whp, a simple rod+piston combo can help achieve it. And as always, tuning is essential.

if you are going to tear it down to do a typical rebuild.. you midaswell do a sleeve job resleeve it with darton mid sleeves or golden eagle.
while that is being done. buy parts and then install all them... check on this site for deals and also on yoparts.com is a nice site if you need cheap name brand stuff. expect to pay 950-1200 for sleeves.. before you ahve that done think about buying low compression pistons i recommend only name brand nothing ebay junk. and when you have the sleeves done send the pistons along. good luck.
